My Mission
My mission is to keep the interest in gardening and food security for all thriving. I want gardening to be seen as more than a hobby for retirees with homes. I seek to connect and learn from gardeners and people all over the world who are dedicated towards spreading wisdom, love, and knowledge to help propel the world forward. I seek to understand all I can about gardening, and learning how to do my part as a resident of this beautiful Earth.
Take The Pledge This Season
I am encouraging people to purchase and/or grow at least 1 vegetable or fruit-bearing plant, or herb. With your pledge, I promise to grow and donate a plant to either an individual or organization in the DMV area.
The goal is to encourage everyone to gain the invaluable skill of gardening and growing. Learning how to grow will provide food security, save money, cut down on food waste, and connect you with nature and community. Our goal is to gain the support of 100,000 people by the end of Spring June 21.
